This page is for fun facts about money. I'm not talking about the things you learned while watching National Treasure about the 13 arrows or the all seeing eye, etc. So, take a look at your cash and find things that don't become "urban legends" but rather ways to appreciate the care it takes to create the money you carry around. Much of it is so you can carry it around without it falling apart. I have encountered bills from other countries that make ours look ancient in terms of security and technology. Polymer bills with see through portions and holograms that truly light up. And, I'll try to post any money fun facts I receive that I think will help others with their money handling.
"Whooo" wants to budget and save?
Did you know there's a little owl on the one Dollar Bill? Some say it's not an owl but a spider, or a skull, but it's still a little thing that someone engraved in to a plate that printed the bill. By the way, my teenage son told me about this one :)
A Dollar bill is approximately 6" x 2.5" so it can be a tape measure of sorts in a pinch.
How does your budget measure up?
